13 Ways To Pass WAEC Without Cheating

13 Ways To Pass WAEC Without Cheating

Sequel to the post I made earlier about my experience at the GCE centre, I got a message from one of my students requesting my counsel on how to read for and pass O’ Level exams. The counsel I gave her is worth sharing; other students will benefit from it.

1. I advise each student to get the syllabus for each subject they register for. Every examination body has its syllabus for each subject; the syllabus contains a list of topics that students are supposed to cover for every subject. I can bet it with you that no question will be set outside the syllabus.

2. When you get the syllabus, read all the topics in the order of their arrangement.

3. You also need to get textbooks, at least one for each subject, to complement your school notes.

4. Note that your school notes are also very important; do not neglect them.

5. As you read, make notes; these notes will be handy for you to read when you want to revise.

6. Get compiled past questions and answers; we call them series.

7. Practise these questions one after the other; I advise you get a booklet for this.

8. Once you answer a question, use the answers supplied at the back of the booklet to mark.

9. Write the correct answer in front of every question you do not get right.

10. Go through the questions and answers again and take note of the corrections.

11. Practise as many questions as possible and practise each question more than once.

12. Read the notes you made earlier and scan through the textbooks again.

Do you know you can pass exams without cheating? Sincerely, you can. Do your part and leave the rest to God.

13. Prayer goes a long way too; I advise you add that to your preparation.
