AMID perceived scarcity of husband ‘materials’ two desperate ladies, Precious Ijessei, 39 and Onyinyechi Nwafor, 22, have been arrested after engaging in a free-for-all over a boyfriend both are believed to be dating.
Both ladies have been charged in Lagos State for allegedly engaging in a public fight over the man, identified as Olamilekan Awe.

The incident, it was gathered, occurred at the Olapade Street, Isale Haruna, Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos, Nigeria.
Police said one of the ladies, Precious, had a disagreement with the boyfriend , Mr. Awe over a yet-to-be-disclosed issue.
She was said to have attacked, bitten and used a bottle to stab the boyfriend on his chest, causing him deep injuries.
Undone, Precious charged after her rival, Onyinyechi, and both slugged it out with both sustaining injuries on both sides before the intervention of neighbours who dragged in the police at Area G Command, Ogba, Lagos.
Both were arrested and transferred to the Command, while the loverboy, Mr. Awe, was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of injuries sustained.
PM Express reported that during the interrogation, the Police found out that the cause of the fighting was in connection with Mr. Awe.
The ladies were consequently charged before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
However, they both pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr L.A. Owolabi, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with surety in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the correctional centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
