THE lawmaker representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Senator Ireti Kingibe, has reportedly dumped the Labour Party (LP) and announced her decision to join the African Democratic Party (ADC).

Stonix News reports that the political party is now a coalition of opposition leaders preparing to contest the 2027 general elections.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja shortly after a meeting on Saturday, Senator Kingibe declared her loyalty to the new platform.

“As a senator, I am fully committed to ADC. However, as the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, I don’t expect you to just hand me a card,” she said.
Senator Kingibe noted that although she is yet to collect her ADC membership card, she remains firmly dedicated to the coalition’s plans for the future.

The ADC coalition was recently formed by opposition parties and political stakeholders who came together to strengthen their chances in the 2027 elections.
