A 7-year-old boy suffered a head wound after being struck by a stray bullet while eating a Happy Meal inside his Greenspoint-area home, according to police.
The incident, Stonix News gathered, occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex on Northborough Drive.
Stray bullets penetrated three apartments, including the boy’s downstairs unit.
He was sitting in the living room when the shooting occurred.

Fortunately, the boy was taken to the hospital, where he remained alert and talking.
Authorities believe the shooting resulted from a shootout between two groups, with multiple shots fired from different caliber guns.
However, as of press time, no arrests had been made, and police were seeking information about potential shooters.
