A Light Beyond the Veil

Princess Denise Yetunde Adurokiya
Today, the earth whispers your name,
Fifty-two years of grace aflame.
A queen in stride, with warmth so bright,
A heart of gold, a soul of light.
With kindness woven into each day,
You loved, you gave, you found your way.
A mother, a wife, a friend so dear,
Your presence brought both joy and cheer.
Through trials fierce, you stood so tall,
With faith unshaken through it all.
The echoes of your love remain,
A melody soft, through joy and pain.
But on that day, the heavens called,
The angels sang, the trumpets tolled.
With gentle hands, they led you high,
Beyond the reach of time’s goodbye.
Though tears may fall, our hearts still know,
You walk in light, you softly glow.
And in the stars, your laughter rings,
A whisper in the wind that sings.
So rest, dear soul, in God’s embrace,
No sorrow now, just endless grace.
Your love still blooms, it will not fade—
A legacy of light you’ve made.
Happy posthumous birthday, Dee.
