Abducted Pregnant Woman In Kaduna-Bound Train Released

Muhammed Abubakar, Reporting

One of the two pregnant women abducted by terrorists who attacked Kaduna-bound train on Monday March 28, has been released.

The terrorists, suspected to be of the Ansaru group, were said to have freed her on compassionate grounds.

A video of the released pregnant woman, in black abaya (long gown) and black face mask, is trending on the social media where she called on the Federal Government to negotiate with the terrorists.

She said it had become very imperative because of the uncertainties surrounding the plight of others who are still under the terrorists’ den.

The woman said the terrorists took care of them and they were also well-fed, adding that the abductors also took care of their medications.

Stonix News reports that so far, the woman is the third person to regain her freedom since their abduction.

Shortly after the saga, the Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Hassan, was set free after the payment of N100m ransom, and his release was followed by that of the son of Professor Ango Abdullahi, Sadik.

The terrorists had said in previous videos that the Federal Government were aware of what their demands were and should be met if the victims must be left off the hook.
