The daughter of late Nollywood actor, Segun Remi, popularly known as Chief Kanran, has revealed the circumstances that led to her father’s death.
Speaking in an interview posted on Alore TV’s official YouTube channel on Saturday, August 16, she disclosed that her father collapsed and died in the bathroom after falling, with no one around to render assistance.

According to her, the veteran actor was not ill prior to his death but had a history of high blood pressure.
She explained that he had spoken to his brother on the phone the night before and even attended a church anniversary the previous Sunday.
“My dad was not sick at all, but he had high blood pressure. He only fell in the bathroom and died because there was nobody to help him. He spoke with his brother on the phone the night before.
“He even attended a church anniversary last Sunday, so there was nothing like sickness before his death,” she stated.
