Akwa Tiwara Okuku, a well-known native doctor, has refuted allegations that he provides juju (Okeite) rituals for kidnappers posing as yahoo boys.
Stonix News reports that the Anambra-born celebrity native doctor, Okuku, was taken into custody as authorities investigate the authenticity of his alleged money ritual practices.
In a viral video, Okuku vehemently denied performing “Okeite” rituals, citing compliance with Anambra State’s newly implemented law banning such activities.
During the interrogation, a government official requested that Okuku accompany them to his shrine to demonstrate the effectiveness of his rituals.
The incident has sparked widespread discussions about the crackdown on traditional practices and the state’s efforts to enforce the law.
