CONTROVERSIAL and bohemian singer, Portable, was on Monday arraigned and granted bail at the Magistrate Court at Ifo, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Stonix News reports that the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), which arrested him last Friday, had earlier said Portable would face more than six charges bordering on alleged assault in court.
He was arrested on Friday after the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the police to turn himself in.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner’s saga began last Tuesday after he had resisted arrest by the police in Ogun State.
Granting him bail Monday morning, the magistrate ordered Portable to be kept in Ilaro Correctional Facility till the perfection of his bail.
The case was, however, adjourned till April 26, 2023.
