Kano Pillars Football Club has condoled with Doma United over a near-fatal crash involving the players while returning to base on Sunday evening.
In a statement on Monday, management of Kano Pillars rejoiced with the club for losing no life in the ghastly accident which occurred Makurdi Lafia road shortly after take-off.
The condolences signed by Media Officer of KPFC, Sharif Zahraddeen Usman kofar Nassarawa, reads in part:
“Kano Pillars Football Club has sympathized with Management of its Doma United of Gombe counterpart over a motor accident involving its players.
“The accident occurred along Makurdi Lafia road shortly after their vehicle took off for the home bound journey to Gombe after their participation in the NPFL match Day 35 on Sunday evening.
“The bus conveying the players Summersaults several times, leaving many of them injured.
“Although no lives were lost but the bus was seriously damaged as a result of the accident.
“Commenting on the unfortunate incident, the Executive Chairman of Kano Pillars Management Board, Alh Babangida Umar Little prayed for a quick recovery of those injured.
“He expressed the sympathy of the entire technical crew, players and staff of Kano Pillars fc.
“Alh Babangida Umar Little also prayed against future occurrence of such accident.”
