Nigerian award-winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, has announced the demise of his 81-year-old mom, Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan.
Stonix News reports that the announcement was made in the early hours of Saturday, November 2nd, on his verified Instagram account.
“It’s hard to accept but she live a good life.
“Our mother maami Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan has gone to rest (1943 – 2024).
“She is survived by children and grandchildren. Pls put us in your prayers. Omore agbeyin gbogbo wa. Ire,” he wrote.
Recall that on Friday, May 10, 2024, Kunle Afolayan unveiled a new house built for his mother.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Kunle Afolayan showed the exterior and interior of the well furnished bungalow.
The newly-built house also had her name, ‘Ayanladun Villa’, written at the entrance.
