A lecturer with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Dr Audu Michael Jimoh has passed.
The shocking incident occurred on Tuesday morning.
Stonix News gathered that fellow staff and students met him unconscious in his office at the wee hours of Tuesday.
He was reportedly rushed to the university clinic, Jaja Clinic, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Dr Jimoh, of the Guidance & Counselling Department, Faculty of Education, was described as a very nice personality always willing to help anyone in need.
A source told our reporter that during a session with some students in his office on Tuesday morning, he suddenly asked them to excuse him for a moment.
The teacher, researcher and community servant was thereafter discovered to have given up the ghost.
A peep into his LinkedIn page shows that he was a lecturer with the University of Calabar, Ibadan Centre from 1998 to 2004 before he later got into the employ of UI in 2005.
Said to be battling with some marital upheavals, Dr Jimoh left behind his wife and children.
