Car Crushes 6 Highway Construction Workers To Death In Baltimore

SIX highway construction workers reportedly lost their lives after a car entered a work zone and crushed them.

The fatal crash occurred at Baltimore Beltway, Maryland, just few minutes past noon on Wednesday, Maryland State Police said.

Stonix News gathered that an Acura went in between Jersey barriers, hit the workers and overturned.

The six people killed in the crash, according to the state police, were contract workers on a state highway construction project.

The driver, names withheld, was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for medical treatment.

“My heart goes out to the victims and the families affected by the tragic crash on the 695 beltway this afternoon,” the state governor, Wes Moore, tweeted

Baltimore County Executive, Johnny Olszewski, while reacting to the tragic incident, extended his condolences to friends and families of all victims:

“On behalf of all the residents of Baltimore County, we offer our sincere condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who have lost their lives in today’s tragic crash and my prayers remain with those injured in this horrific incident.”
