By THE General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT), Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Austin Ariole (JP), on Sunday, said the comment by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, labelling Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern,” is a welcome development, adding that it will make the Nigerian Presidency and the Federal Government more proactive.
“The killings are actually a concern, but I think that America should throw its weight behind and collaborate with the Government of Nigeria,” the cleric said.
“America cannot come and rule Nigeria, but they should do the needful to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.”
Reacting shortly after the church’s prophetic service, Prophet Ariole said the killing of Christians in Nigeria by Islamic terrorists is not the making of President Tinubu.

He noted, “It has been around for years — from the Chibok time up till today.”
Prophet Ariole expressed the belief that the United States of America could have helped to curb the killings by terrorists in Nigeria through positive action — by supporting the Nigerian military and promoting reforms to better the society — instead of issuing numerous statements.
He insisted that the only way to eradicate Islamic terrorism from the country is through collaboration between the United States and the Nigerian government.
Prophet Ariole also urged the Nigerian military to wake up to its responsibilities in the fight against terrorism in the country.
