SUPER Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has suffered another devastating loss, announcing the passing of his mother.
The 28-year-old Chippa United shot-stopper shared the heartbreaking news on his verified X handle, describing 2025 as “the worst year” of his life.

Stonix News reports that this loss comes just a few months after Nwabali’s father passed away on November 15, 2024. Due to his father’s demise, Nwabali missed the Super Eagles’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Rwanda.

“A very crazy world indeed. RIP mom,” Nwabali wrote.
