Joseph Mosi, her brother-in-law wrote thus: “O selfless soul, whose love did shine,

A beacon bright, both firm and kind.

Your voice, “Uncle Joe,” still softly rings,

A melody of cherished things.

“Through every trial, through every fight,

You stood your ground with unmatched might.

A mother’s heart in a sister’s role,

Guarding lives with a noble soul.

“Ìyá Èkó, you loved this life, you loved us all,

You rose with strength when shadows called.

A drive unbroken, a spirit vast,

You did your best for the rest of us.

“Cancer came with its cruel demand,

But you, a warrior, took a stand.

Your battle fierce, your heart ablaze,

In every moment, you amazed.

“My tears still fall, an endless stream,

For all you were and all you dreamed.

Your laughter healed, your love was balm,

Your presence brought an endless calm.

“Like a mother hen with wings outspread,

You sheltered hearts where others fled.

Your boundless care, your tender grace,

Still linger here, a warm embrace.

“Though grief may weigh, your memory stays,

A guiding star through earthly haze.

For lives you touched, your name shall glow,

A timeless light we’ll always know.

“Now rest, dear heart, your fight is done,

A gem is gone.

Your legacy shines like the morning sun.

In Heaven’s arms, may peace be found,

With angels’ hymns your soul is crowned.

Rest well, another mother.”

Another well-wisher, Peter Folorunsho also wrote “A larger part of who I am and who am gonna be is built on the morals she thought us and her selflessness.
