By AFTER dragging the hard-earned reputation of the cleric in the mud for years over an alleged salacious intimacy, Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has tendered a public apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for defamation.
The actress made the apology via a letter posted on her Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, ”A letter to Apostle Johnson Suleman,’’ where remorsefully admitted to spreading falsehood against the revered cleric.

Halima, in the apology letter, also detailed her reasons for tendering the apology.
She said that she regretted the distress and pain her allegations had caused him, his wife Lizzy Suleman, their family and the leaders of Omega Fire Ministries.
Halima further expressed her hope that the letter would open the door to his forgiveness, acknowledging that a mere apology cannot be able to undo the damage already done.
The letter reads: “I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry.
“With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognising that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right, then.
“I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and ministry.”
Stonix News recalled that in April, a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja had fined Halima N10 million as damages following her allegations against the cleric.
She had admitted that she became bedridden after having the altercations with the fiery apostle.
While sick, the actress’s family had taken to social media to also call out the Suleman to stay away from her.
Trollers had alleged that the delectable actress was battling an auto-immune ailment which she debunked in a medical report she posted on social media.
