Hit-And-Run Driver Injures Policeman

A yet-to-be-identified policeman, on Thursday 5th of January, has escaped death but left injured after being run over by a hit-and-run driver at Ilubinrin inward Simpson area of Lagos.

According to a tweet by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency’s official handle, followlastma, the incident resulted in a heavy traffic backlog towards the Third Mainland Bridge.

After the incident, passersby and sympathisers rallied-round the injured policeman, while emergency responders were immediately called.
