A lady evangelist and married mother-of-five has reportedly given up the ghost during a sexual romp with a man identified as her Bishop.
The incident occurred in a room at Jubilee Guest House Ovom, Ogborhill, in Aba Abia State, Nigeria.
The bishop,Timothy Otu, was identified as the General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministries (City of Miracles), with location at Obikabia Junction Aba.
The lady evangelist, who hails from Umuatakawom in Obingwa, was identified as Happiness; her husband was said to be at work in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State when the incident occurred.
The incident happened around 11:00p.m on Saturday August 12, 2023, in the room booked by the Bishop.
It gathered that during the frenetic sexual bout, the lady evangelist passed out and on noticing the turn on event, the surreptitiously absconded.
He was said to have told the receptionist on duty in the hotel that he was going to buy some victuals for the “vigil.”
Suspecting a foul play, the manager of the hotel, after waiting for sometime without the bishop returning, contacted the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area at about 1:00a.m Sunday morning.
Operatives of the station swiftly visited the hotel and met the lady evangelist lying naked and lifeless, foaming through her mouth and nostrils.
Investigation carried out on her phone, it was gathered, revealed that the mother-of-five was actually a member of the Agape Evangelical Ministries Incorporated, founded and presided over by Bishop Timothy Otu.
It was gathered that both the deceased and the bishop had been engaged in amorous relationship, as revealed in text messages retrieved from the former’s mobile phone.
Meanwhile, operatives of the police, thereafter, being Sunday morning, tracked the Bishop to his church at Obikabia Junction.
The undercover operatives reportedly attended the Sunday Worship Service which was presided over by Bishop Timothy Otu.
The bishop was said to have vigorously preached on repentance, after which he was apprehended and detained at the Eastern Ngwa Police Station, Obingwa.
