Infant Shot, 2 Adults Pronounced Dead During Shooting

AN infant was shot, while two adults were pronounced dead during a shooting inside a North Carolina home.

Stonix News learnt that the incident occurred at approximately 8:28p.m (UK time) on Tuesday night, when officers from the Fayetteville Police Department responded to reports of shooting on the 1100 block of Bunce Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, 10 miles south of Fort Bragg.

Reacting to the shooting, Fayetteville Police Department, in a statement, said:

“When officers arrived on scene they located two adult victims inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds and they were pronounced deceased on the scene.”

The other victim, an infant whose identity has not been disclosed by the authorities, was reportedly struck by gunfire and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Fayetteville Police Department, as of the time of filing this report, had not given any further details on the condition of the baby or the severity of the injuries suffered in the shooting.

The police department also confirmed that investigation is ongoing:

“Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit have assumed the investigation, and the investigation is ongoing. 

“Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
