JUST IN: Fubara Fights Back, Set To Probe Wike’s Administration

Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting

As the political crisis heightens in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, has vowed to probe the activities of the last administration of Nyesom Wike, of which he was part of as Accountant General.

Fubara gave the hint while swearing in Dagogo Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State.

Stonix News recalled that Iboroma was earlier today screened and confirmed as the Commissioner-designate by a three-member legislature in the state government house.

Speaking, Fubara charged Iboroma to quickly set up a panel of inquiry to look into the activities of the state government in the last eight years.

Fubara has been engulfed in a long battle of supremacy with his political benefactor now Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike with the legislative arm split between the two gladiators.

Wike at the weekend, vowed to redress in future what he termed as mistake he made in supporting the ascendancy of Fubara as his successor.
