Just In: Gunmen Attack Broadcast Station In Anambra, Burn Properties

Michael Chukwuebuka, Reporting

Some faceless gunmen, early hours of Monday, invaded the premises of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awada, Onitsha station, brutalizing a staff and destroying some properties.

Although no life was lost, reports say they burnt a building, a company bus, and another vehicle parked in the premises belonging to a staff who had worked overnight.

A staff, who witnessed the attack, told DAILY POST that they were being interrogated by security agents over the attack.

Stonix News reports that the Anambra Broadcasting Service, a State government-owned company, as expected, has been supporting the state government on its fight against “unknown gunmen” ravaging the state.
