A senior staff of Lagos State University (LASU) has slumped and died while waiting to collect cash at a commercial bank.
The deceased, Mr Johnson Adesola Ademola, a Deputy bursar of the university, died on Monday 20th, at Wema Bank within the campus.
According to an eyewitness, Mr Ademola, who had been on the queue as early as 6 a.m. on Monday morning, slumped and died while waiting to collect five thousand naira (N5000).
He was rushed to the school’s hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
His corpse has been deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
As of the time of filing this report, no statement from the school’s management had been made.
