AFTER being held captive for two months, four residents of Chikakore community in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, have been freed.
The victims, Stonix News learnt, were rescued on April 7 in a successful operation led by the Nigerian Army, with support from various intelligence agencies.
The individuals, including an entire family, were abducted on Sunday, January 26, 2025, when armed assailants attacked the Health Centre extension area of Chikakore at around 11 p.m.
During the assault, the attackers kidnapped five people: Adesiyan Akinropo, his wife, son, their guest, and a neighbor.
