By The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s performance on the second anniversary of his administration.
Jibrin declared that Nigeria is firmly on the path to progress and prosperity.
“Over the last 24 months, under his visionary leadership, Nigeria has been strategically repositioned. Despite inheriting numerous challenges, the President has introduced impactful policies and programmes aimed at overcoming them.
“The President is working tirelessly to address the insecurity challenge. Hundreds of terrorists have been neutralised, especially in the North West.
“Areas previously deemed unsafe are being reclaimed. Kidnappings along the Abuja-Kaduna highway have drastically reduced.
“In the South East, the once rampant attacks by unknown gunmen have diminished. Boko Haram was largely decimated, although isolated attacks persist in parts of Borno State,” he stated.
