Sad: Abducted NYSC Member Found Dead In Abuja

A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member identified as Stephanie Se-Ember Terungwa, who was abducted in Abuja, has reportedly been found dead.

Stephanie is a graduate of Micro Biology from the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, Benue State and was presently serving in the Federal Capital Territory before the unfortunate incident.

According to a Facebook post on one Richard Lorliam’s page who claimed to be a relation of the deceased, said Terungwa was last seen on Thursday in the Lokogoma axis of Abuja.

Lorliam said Stephanie was abducted together with her one-year-old son while returning from the Community Development Exercise on that very day.

When Lorliam made the report of her kidnap on his page, he said that though the son has been found but his niece was still missing.

“My niece is missing …anyone with information should come forward. Last known location… Lokogoma Abuja.”

“Abducted with her 1yr old son after attending NYSC CDs exercise. The baby was later found but she still remains missing. Pls share till she is found,” he said.

After Lorliam made the post about finding the corps member’s son, Rachael Iveren Ingbian one of her friends, took to Facebook page to announce that Terungwa has been found dead.

Meanwhile, the NYSC has confirmed the death of Terungwa through a press release by Eddy Megwa, Director, the Press and Publicity Relations.

He, however, assured that security operatives are investigating to unravel the perpetrators.
