THE Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the next phase of its major recruitment drive is set to commence, with successful applicants now being invited to select their screening slots.
In an official update released on Thursday, 27th November 2025, the Board confirmed that the process is moving to the physical screening and document verification stage.

Applicants who were shortlisted “on merit” following the initial application stage are now required to visit the official recruitment portal.
From Monday, 1st December, to Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, these candidates must log on to recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to choose their preferred screening venue and date.
The Board has issued a firm warning to all applicants, stressing that all official communication regarding the recruitment will be conducted solely through its portal.
Candidates are advised to disregard any correspondence received via email or other unofficial channels, likely in an effort to combat potential fraud.
The nationwide screening exercise itself is scheduled to take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from Monday, 8th December, to Friday, 12th December 2025.
In the statement, e-signed by its Secretary, Major General (Rtd) AM Jibril, the CDCFIB extended its congratulations to those who had progressed.
The Board also sought to reaffirm the integrity of the process, stating that the selection was conducted “in line with Federal Character principle as well as the needs of each of the Services.”

This recruitment exercise is a significant undertaking for the four key security and emergency services under the Board’s purview, aiming to bolster their ranks with new personnel.
