Nigerian soldiers rescue 20 policemen from hands of terrorists

NIGERIA: No fewer than 20 Nigeria policemen abducted by terrorists during an attack on a police division at Buni Yadi have been rescued by Nigerian soldiers.

Stonix News gathered that the timely rescue came from troops of Operation Hadin Kai.  

Acting Director Defence Media Operations, Brigadier General Benard Onyeuko, disclosed the feat while briefing reporters on ongoing military operations in the last two weeks.

He said the troops’ kinetic and non-kinetic operations drove the terrorists out of their camps into surrendering.

He said within the time under review, a total of 62 terrorist elements were neutralised and 28 arrested.
