THE Super Eagles will continue their push to secure a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup when they take on Lesotho later today at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Super Eagles Face Lesotho In Crucial World Cup Qualifier

The Nigerian team, captained by William Troost-Ekong, were held to a draw in their last outing against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana last month. So far, the Super Eagles have accumulated 11 points in the qualifiers, with just two matches remaining.

A victory over Lesotho today, followed by another potential win against Benin Republic on 14 October, could be enough to confirm Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup.
