Suspected ritualists have, again, killed and dumped the mutilated remains of a 22-year old lady, simply identified as Shakirat, at the back of her mother’s shop at Oke-Oore, Iwo, Osun State.
Stonix News gathered that Shakirat had gone missing since Wednesday, leaving her family in distress.
“She was last seen Wednesday afternoon and her family members became worried when she did not return in the evening.
“Her corpse was found behind her mother’s shop very early on Thursday.
“Some police operatives later came and took the body away.
“We later learnt that they took her to a morgue in Iwo General Hospital,” a source narrated.
Meanwhile, the Osun State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yemisi Opalola, has confirmed the incident.
She said police had commenced investigations into the incident, adding that the command wanted autopsy to be carried out on the corpse.
“The family insisted on burying her and we have released the corpse to the family,” she noted.
