Ibadan-born Pastor Sunday Edward Akande, who’s the Assistant Continental Overseer, Special Assistant To General Overseer and Pastor-In-Charge of Region 23 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has declared that Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has remained the same since he knew him 40 years ago.

Speaking with Stonix News at his office at Beautiful Gate parish, Airport road, Warri, Delta State, the senior pastor affirmed that Daddy G.O, as Pastor Adeboye is fondly called, has remained the same in integrity, forthrightness, commitment to God, consecration, selflessness and matchless humility.
Stonix News reports that the reverred Ifewara-born cleric of global grace and phenomenon marks his 80th birthday today March 2, 2022.
When asked what he could say concerning God’s General, the Region 23 senior pastor, who had been in the north for the work of the gospel, said he had known Daddy GO closely for about 40 years.
“By the Grace of God, I know him to be a man of God, somebody who is humble and who loves God to the letter.
“By God’s grace, I have been with him close to 40 years and I would say the man I knew 40 years ago is still the man I know now when it comes to humility and serving the Lord, believing in holiness and living a holy life.
“Even before he became the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), I have been one of his sons; so I would say we’re all growing with him.
“The same Pastor Adeboye we know now is the same Pastor Adeboye we knew about 40 years ago; forthright, believing and ready to give anything for the gospel.
“So, it’s a thing of joy that most of us are still around and appreciating God for his life at 80,” he enthused.
