THREE Israeli women, Romi Gonen, 24, Doron Steinbrecher, 31, and Emily Damari, 28, were finally reunited with their families in Israel after being held hostage by Hamas for 471 days.
The women were released as part of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which also included the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners.

The Hostages’ Stories
1. Romi Gonen: A 24-year-old dancer and choreographer, Romi was captured while fleeing the Nova music festival in the Negev Desert on October 7, 2023.

2. Doron Steinbrecher: A 31-year-old veterinary nurse, Doron was taken from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, near Gaza’s north-western border.

3. Emily Damari: A 28-year-old British-Israeli national, Emily was abducted from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where she was a key figure in the kibbutz’s youth community.

The release of the three women marks a significant step in the ongoing negotiations and ceasefire efforts between Israel and Hamas, bringing hope to the families of the remaining hostages still awaiting their return.
