A total of 82 babies comprising 48 boys and 34 girls were born at the just-concluded 70th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The well-attended programme tagged: Perfect Jubilee started on August 8 and was rounded off on Sunday August 14 with a Thanksgiving Service at the 3×3 New Auditorium, Shimawa, Ogun State.
Rounding off the Thanksgiving Service, General Overseer of the mission, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye appreciated all the mission’s departments for their hard work and commitments to the success of the event.
He specifically commended the prayer department, which he described as the engine room of the convention, who fervently prayed to God to keep all dangers at bay.
“The terrorists knew we were meeting in millions. But because of people who are holding onto God praying let there be light, we’ve had a hitch free convention,” he noted.
The revered cleric also lauded the cooking department, saying “I can’t thank them enough.”
