Train Attack Victim To Osinbajo: ‘My Son Is A Sickler, I don’t Know His Condition

Muhammed Abubakar, Reporting

A female captive and classmate of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo among the abducted Kaduna-bound train passengers has appealed to the presidential aspirant to intervene and ensure they regain freedom from the hands of their abductors.

She made the passionate appeal in a fresh video released by the terrorists of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on Monday.

The elderly woman in the video said she was a classmate with Osinbajo at the Nigeria Law School between 1978/1979 and that her son was a sickler whose current condition she’s not aware of since her kidnap.

“My name is Gladys. I’m pleading particularly to Professor Yemi Osinbajo who was my classmate 78/79 in Law School.

“You are a grandfather and a father; come to our aid because we have been here for 62 days and I have a son who is a sickler; I don’t know his condition now,” she lamented.

Also speaking, Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, son of the Chairman of Northern Elders Forum ( NEF), Prof. Ango Abdullahi, in the same video called on the Federal Government to rescue them, saying their health condition is failing.

Sadiq and about 61 others were abducted over two months ago when the AK 9 Abuja-Kaduna train was attacked by the terrorists who shot and killed some passengers.

Sadiq, who recently won the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries while still in captivity, was among the seven captives shown in the fresh video.

“We are appealing to the Federal Government to, once again, come to our aid.

‘We have been here for 62 days. Most of us here are sick and we are not in good condition and every day, the situation deteriorates.

“We are appealing to the Federal Government to please come to our aid before we start losing our lives,” he pleaded.
