An orgy of fists and muscles played out at the Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) branch office on Wednesday in Warri, Delta State, between a subscriber and a staff over linking of NIN.
The fight broke out early Wednesday morning when clients with different SIM issues were waiting to be attended to near the popular Ginuwa Junction where the office is located.
Stonix News, who was at the scene of the incident, witnessed that the brawl was caused because the MTN staff refused to allow the subscriber to enter the office with his mother whose turn it was to be attended to.
Before the brawl, our reporter saw that the client (a stutterer) was in a hot argument with the MTN staff whom he accused of disallowing him to follow his mother in to address her SIM issue.
According to the client, he had been coming to the MTN office for over a week without any respite.
The stutterer added that the MTN staff has no good manner of approach and has refused to answer him since he has been calling his attention.
Other witnesses, who were present, blamed the staff for preventing the client (stutterer) from following his mother into the facility.
Before some semblance of order was later restored by a police officer, the MTN staff had suffered some blisters round his neck and licking his wounds.
Meanwhile, as of 10:00 on Wednesday, over 63 customers with various complaints were awaiting attention from the MTN staff believed to be allegedly pompous and lazy in discharging their services.
