JANET Occasia Kamenda, a trailblazing Zambian truck driver, has shared her inspiring story to encourage others to chase their dreams.

Stonix News reports that the truck driver revealed that she enjoys traveling across countries in Africa.

In a Facebook post shared by Zambian Footprints, Kamenda shared her remarkable journey, highlighting her passion for adventures and determination to break barriers:
“People often ask me, ‘How do you manage to go to Congo as a lady?’ My answer is simple yet empowering: ‘If other ladies can go there as drivers, why can’t I?

“In today’s world, women are constantly breaking barriers and redefining traditional roles, and I am proud to be part of that movement.

“Driving has always been something I enjoy, and traveling to new places adds excitement and purpose to my life. To me, it’s not just about moving from one location to another; it’s about exploring opportunities, embracing challenges, and paving my way toward a better future.

“The journey hasn’t been without its fair share of doubts and fears.
“However, I’ve learned that fear only holds us back from what we truly desire. Success doesn’t come to those who wait but to those who take bold steps, work hard, and remain focused.

“If I want to secure my future and achieve my dreams, I must remove all fear and concentrate on what I truly want in life.
“Traveling to Congo or anywhere else isn’t just a job for me; it’s a statement. It shows that women can venture into fields traditionally dominated by men.

“It’s a reminder that we are capable of great things if we dare to believe in ourselves.
“Every journey I take is a step closer to achieving my dreams. Every road I drive on is a testament to my determination and strength. So, to those who wonder how I do it, my answer will always be: ‘If others can, so can I.’

“I hope my story inspires others to chase their dreams without fear and to never let societal expectations limit their potential.

“After all, the road to success is open to anyone willing to take the wheel and drive.”
