GENERAL Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has spoken on his silence on the AI-generated image circulating on social media, depicting him as an Alhaji.
Speaking during the first Holy Ghost Service of the new year, themed: “Glory Ahead,” Adeboye addressed the image with a wry smile, saying, “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an Alhaji.”

According to him, “Mockers will be louder and more aggressive this year than never before but unfortunately, Daddy said many of them will not survive this year.
“I’m the one who added unfortunately because God doesn’t want the death of sinners.”

Adeboye also used the opportunity to prophesy about the coming year, warning of an unprecedented earthquake of massive proportions in 2025.
He urged prayers for peace, especially in light of ongoing global conflicts, to prevent another World War.
The RCCG General Overseer also outlined the church’s focus for the 100-day fast, with the first 30 days dedicated to praying for Nigeria.
He vowed to lead the church in “violent prayers” aimed at uprooting elements that hinder the country’s progress.
Adeboye prophesied that 2025 would be a pivotal year, bringing significant breakthroughs, promotions, and long-awaited milestones.
He also warned that without prayer, fasting would only amount to a “hunger strike.”
The RCCG General Overseer emphasised the importance of prayer and warned against frivolous conversations during the fasting period.
He also advised individuals above 70 to refrain from participating in the fast or to modify their participation according to their age.
