FOR obvious reasons, Dangote Cement PLC has crashed a bag of its cement to N3,450 as factory price and N300 for transportation.
This came bearly four days after BUA Cement Factory, in line with its earlier pledge, crashed its price to N3,500 which cost directly from the factory is now N3, 000 as further announced Wednesday.
A statement obtained online from Dangote Cement PLC reads:
GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE SALES OF BAGS OF DANGOTE CEMENT PLC WISH TO INFORM THE CEMENT AT A PROMOTIONAL FACTORY PRICE OF #3,450 AND TRANSPORTATION COST OF #300 ONLY *CONTACT OUR VERIFIED SALES REPRESENTATIVE MANAGER ON(09036243760). WE DELIVER WORLDWIDE AND ALL THE 36 STATES IN NIGERIA UPON THE CUSTOMER(S) ORDER (DOOR-STEP DELIVERY).

Perhaps in a statement that smacks of some cold competition, BUA Cement Plc in another promotional message sighted online, said besides crashing the price to N3,000, customers can now buy as low as 100 bags directly from the factory.
The statement reads:

BUA Cement is now sold at 3,000 per Bag, directly from the factory. Total is #3,000 per bag including the Transportation. Contact our Sales Representative (+2349160564385) for booking. Nationwide Delivery (36 States).

Stonix News reports that before this week, a bag of cement from both companies sold for the least retailing price of N5,500.
BUA began its sales at the crashed price on Monday October 2, 2023.
