EX-MILITANT leader and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, has dismissed as false the social media reports claiming he gave the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum to release detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Nnamdi Kalu
In a statement signed by his media consultant, Dr Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo described the publication as a fabrication by mischief-makers bent on tarnishing his reputation and undermining his ongoing efforts to combat illegal oil bunkering in the Niger Delta.
“Tompolo did not author the said publication and has nothing to do with the issue of Nnamdi Kanu. It is clearly the handiwork of his enemies, who are trying to discredit him because of his firm stance against illegal crude oil activities,” the statement said.

Bebenimibo emphasised that such individuals would not succeed, as Tompolo remains committed to his mission of sanitising the oil sector and supporting national stability.
“These people have failed and will continue to fail because he will not relent in his duty to completely eradicate illegal oil operations in the region,” he added.
Reaffirming his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Tompolo pledged to continue supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and even declared his endorsement of the President for a second term.

President Bola Tinubu
“We reassure the Federal Government that Tompolo stands firmly with President Tinubu and supports the renewed agenda of his government,” the statement read.
The media aide urged the Federal Government and the general public to disregard the false report, noting that Tompolo’s attention remains focused on ensuring peace, development, and environmental justice in the Niger Delta region.
