Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested two suspected internet frauds popularly known as Yahoo-Yahoo Boys in Makurdi, Benue State.
Stonix News reports that Yahoo Yahoo is a Nigerian word for internet frauds.
The suspects, Ikenna Ojobeagu, 22 and Martins Ezeorah, 24, were arrested on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
This was contained on the verified Facebook Page of the commission and made available to Stonix News on Wednesday.
The suspects, who hailed from Igbo Etiti local Government Area of Enugu State, claimed they were sports betting agents amidst their arrest.
One Lexus ES 350, 5 smartphone phones, 6 different types of laptop computers, charms, 62 inches Hisense TV and several incriminating documents were recovered from them according to the post.
