By US President Donald Trump announced today that he had ordered precision military airstrikes targeting a senior ISIS attack planner and other terrorists in Somalia.
In a statement on X on Saturday, he claimed the operation successfully eliminated the targets without civilian casualties.

“These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our allies,” Trump stated. “The strikes destroyed the caves they live in and killed many terrorists.”
The President criticised his predecessor, Joe Biden, accusing him of failing to act swiftly.
“Our military has targeted this ISIS attack planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!” he asserted.
Trump emphasised his administration’s commitment to fighting terrorism, issuing a stark warning to ISIS.
“The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that ‘WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!’” he declared.

The US military has previously conducted operations against ISIS in Somalia, though independent verification of the latest strike’s effectiveness remains pending.
