Abducted Reverend Father Mikah Suleiman from his rectory at Damba area of Gusau in Zamfara State on Saturday, has been released by his abductors.
The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Mathew Kukah, disclosed the cheering news in a video when he said: “surprise, surprise, I have with me a friend of mine, which I wish to introduce to you”.
Suleiman, in the video, thanked the people for their prayers and support towards his rescue.

He said by the grace of God, he was out of the hands of the bandits and now in the Office of the National Special Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, with his brother, Father Chike.
Stonix News gathered that Mikah was abducted in the early hours of Saturday, June 22, in the Father’s Rectory in the Damba area of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
The cleric works under the Sokoto Catholic Diocese and is the Parish Priest of St. Raymond Catholic Church Damba, Gusau, Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.
