By The National Executive Council (NEC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assumed interim control of the party’s leadership, pending the resolution of ongoing court cases.
The NEC Publicity Secretary, Don Norman Obinna disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja.
He says the NEC is constitutionally empowered to act in such circumstances, stressing that the move is to prevent a leadership vacuum and preserve party unity.
He assures members that the arrangement is temporary and in line with the party’s constitution, urging stakeholders to remain calm and supportive.
