Barely 24 hours to the National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) the former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Honourable Lasun Yussuf, has tendered his letter of resignation of membership of APC.
As a member of the All Progressives Congress, he represented the Irepodun/Olurunda/Osogbo/Orolu Federal Constituency of Osun State
Recall Yussuf was a former gubernatorial aspirant of APC in 2018 in Osun State.
He also aspired to emerge the governorship candidate of the party in the last party’s primary election that eventually favoured the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Stonix News gathered that Yussuf submitted his resignation letter Friday morning at the APC Secretariat, Ogo Oluwo, Osogbo, Osun State.
