By NATIONAL Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor J. O. Obayemi, on Sunday, led members of RCCG Region 2, Lagos, on a peaceful protest.
The protest was against the brutal killing of Miss Deborah Yakubu, a Christian student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, over alleged blasphemy by Islamic fanatics.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had directed the peaceful protest in all churches and its secretariats across the country to preach peace, tolerance and unity.
