FORMER Chief Executive Officer of Konga, one of the nation’s e-commerce powerhouses, Nick Imudia, has committed suicide.
Stonix News reports that the shocking death has left friends, family and associates devastated.
The deceased was said to have scaled from the balcony of his Lekki apartment to his death on the night of Tuesday, June 25.
It was gathered that moments before his jump, he had contacted his US-based brother, entrusting him with the task of distributing his wealth in the event of his demise.
He was also said to have called his young daughter from a previous relationship, reassuring her of his love for her and urging her to seek solace by looking heavenward.
Details of and how and why he took the plunge to end it all have not been revealed to the public.
Mr Imudia hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Imudia’s professional trajectory was marked by remarkable achievements and contributions to the tech industry.
Prior to his tenure at Konga, he had played pivotal roles at TCL/Alcatel as a Regional Director and, at Microsoft Device and Services, as the GM/MD for West and Central Africa.
