IMMEDIATE past governor of Ekiti State, Mr Kayode Fayemi, is being quizzed by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Stonix News gathered that the ex-governor arrived the Ilorin Zonal Command of the Commission at about 10:00a.m on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
He is being quizzed by a team of investigators on alleged misappropriation of funds during his tenure to the tune of about N4 billion.
The anti-graft agency was said to have delayed in quizzing the gap-toothed former minister till date to enable the transition of power to go unhindered.
It remains uncertain if the former governor will be released before Thursday expires.
In the absence of futher details and formal information from EFCC, the former governor is said to still be undergoing interrogation.
