By DEHUMAISED Comfort Emmanson, released from Kirikiri prison on Wednesday, has been extended a surprising and generous offer by Ossai Ovie Success, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Ossai announced an all-expenses-paid trip for Emmanson to visit Delta State — known as the “Big Heart” and proudly branded as Nigeria’s “Home of Global Tourism Hub.”
The remarkable offer includes return flight tickets, a stay in a four-star hotel, a full guided tour of the state, and VIP access to the highly anticipated Delta Social Media Summit, set to take place on 28 August in Asaba.
But the most striking part of the offer lies in the promise of a life-changing opportunity: a secured job in Delta State with a monthly salary of ₦500,000.
“I want her to come to Delta and unwind after everything she’s been through,” Ossai stated. “She will not be disappointed — I plan to give her a good time. If anyone’s in contact with her, kindly tell her to DM me.”
The gesture, which combines tourism, empowerment, and rehabilitation, has been described as a bold move towards reintegrating ex-inmates into society and giving them a second chance.
