JUST sworn-in Governor Orimisan Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has made quick appointments as substantive governor few hours into office.
Àiyedatiwa emerged governor of the Sunshine State after the demise of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu early Wednesday after a prolonged battle with cancer.
In a statement signed by Omojuwa Olusegun, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, the appointments were approved by Governor Aiyedatiwa.
They included, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan (Chief Press Secretary to the Governor), Mr. Smart Omodunbi Jnr, Special Assistant to the Governor (Political Matters), Special Assistant to the Governor, and Mr. Abire Sunday Olugbenga (New Media).
Others were: Miss Motunrayo Oyedele, Special Assistant to the Governor (Photography) and Dr. Temitayo Iperepolu (Domestic and Government House) and
Special Assistant to the Governor. Omojuwa noted that the appointments take immediate effect.
