Kaduna LG Councillor Arrested On His Way to Deliver AK-47, Ammunition to Bandits

A councillor under the Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Abdulrahaman Adamu, has been reportedly arrested with an AK47 rifles loaded with six rounds of ammunition.

The suspect represents Kinkiba Ward of Soba Local Government Area of the state.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kaduna State Command, Mohammed Jalige, said Adamu was intercepted on a motorcycle by operatives on patrol in Giwa Local Government Area on May 9, 2022 at about 8:00p.m.

Jalige explained that the councilor confessed that he was on the way to deliver the arm and ammunition to bandits.
